Advance senior
Below, a three-year varsity starter, was the floor leader and lone setter for the Hornets during her senior season. She compiled 390 assists and 66 blocks to go along with a 96 percent serving percentage.
Kayla Buxton
Perryville sophomore
Buxton, a setter, racked up an impressive 873 assists while adding 109 digs and 24 kills. Her jump serve was an offensive weapon for the Pirates. She compiled 57 aces and forced numerous poor passes.
Sydney Eeftink
Leopold senior
Eeftink was a driving force behind Leopold’s quickened and improved offense this season. She had 409 assists, 116 digs, 29 aces and 17 blocks for the Wildcats, who finished second at the Class 1 final four.
Taylor Feeney
Notre Dame senior
Feeney hit well both outside and on the backside for the Bulldogs, who finished the season 32-3. She collected 287 kills while also making 144 digs and recording 29 blocks to go along with 28 aces.
Jessica Lindsey
Dexter junior
Lindsey dominated the front row from her middle blocker position and played excellent defense in the back row. She had 300 kills and 52 blocks for the Bearcats while also earning 37 aces with her jump serve.
Victoria Lowrey
Bernie senior
In the last two seasons of her career, Lowrey collected almost 600 kills and 400 digs for the Mules, who finished second in Class 1 during her junior season. Bernie claimed a third consecutive district title this season.
Emily Merick
Puxico senior
Puxico’s senior middle hitter was a Class 2 honorable mention all-state selection Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association.
Caitlin Petty
Leopold junior
Petty, a threat from any position on the court, played a combination of middle blocker and setter for the Wildcats in their final four season. She finished with 309 kills, 301 assists, 116 digs, 44 blocks and 29 aces.
Rachel Poole
Woodland senior
Poole helped the Cardinals to a district title this season while collecting 226 assists, mostly as a setter in the back row. She was good in the front row as well, recording 168 kills and 87 blocks. He also had 140 digs and 32 aces.
Alex Spears
Perryville junior
Spears was the No. 1 offensive threat for Perryville, which had the best volleyball team in southeast Missouri and was a Class 3 state quarterfinalist. She had 426 kills to go along with 200 digs, 32 blocks and 29 aces.
