Lexi Hoffman
Advance
Hoffman had a senior season for the ages, finishing with 530 kills with a hitting percentage of .459. Hoffman's hitting percentage was the 26th-highest mark in the entire nation, second in Missouri and first in Class 1. She also had 446 assists, 270 digs, 86 blocks and 53, proving she can do it all. Hoffman was selected all-state, all-district, was named the Stoddard County Activities Association Conference Player of the Year after leading Advance to a second consecutive MSHSAA Class 1 State Championship. She is committed at Notre Dame College in South Euclid, OH.
Madison Jines
Bell City
Jines, a senior, is a six-position player. She has an excellent vertical leap and is a smart setter with great accuracy, who was the backbone and workhorse for Bell City’s MSHSAA Class 1, District-winning team. Jines finished the season with the fifth most assists in the state (842). She also had 127 digs, 47 aces, 30 kills and seven blocks. Jines was named all-state and all-district.
Reagan Howe
Oak Ridge
Howe was one of the best players in the area and it was shown as she helped lead the Oak Ridge Blue Jays to a 16-12-1 campaign. Howe’s efforts were recognized as she was named to the Class 1 All-State Team. She also posted the eighth-best hitting percentage in the state at .399 and she led the Blue Jays with 365 kills.
Holland Guilliams
Jackson
Guilliams was one of the best players in the area in 2023. She helped lead the Indians to a 29-7-3 season and her efforts were rewarded as she was named SEMO Conference North Player of the Year. Guilliams also was named to the SEMO Conference North First Team and she was also named Co-Libero of the Year. Guilliams will now go on to continue her volleyball career at Southeast Missouri State University.
Emersyn Pitts
St. Vincent
Pitts was an instrumental piece of the success the St. Vincent Indians had in 2023. She helped lead the Indians to their third straight district championship and did so by securing the winning point in the championship game against Oak Ridge. Pitts and the Indians finished the season 14-14-3 but closed the season winning 8 of their last 11.
Bree Winchester
Clarkton
Bree Winchester was given All-Conference, All-District and All-State honors in her senior season, and she earned a spot on the USAV All-American Team watchlist. The outside hitter had 90% serving with 82 aces. She amassed 465 kills, which broke the school record and ranks her 15thin the state. Winchester also had 223 digs and maintained a 0.224 hitting efficiency through Clarkton's 27-7-1 season.
Chloe Hendrix
Holcomb
Chloe Hendrix helped lead the Holcomb High School volleyball team to a district championship win in Class 1 District 1 and a 21-11-2 record this fall. Hendrix amassed 223 kills, 84 aces, 414 digs, 62 assists and 12 blocks, and she has a serve percentage of 94.8. Hendrix earned first team All-Conference and All-District honors this year.
Jayla Weddington
Portageville
Weddington, a senior, led the team in kills with an impressive total of 261, and had 32 blocks, 81 digs, and 24 assists. Weddington's performance and leadership were instrumental in guiding the Lady Bulldogs to an outstanding 28-5-2 record winning both the Bootheel Athletic Conference Tournament and the MSHSAA Class 2, District 1 Tournament. She was an All-Bootheel Athletic Conference selection and second-team all-district.
Angela Dobbins
Malden
Angela Dobbins earned the title of Bootheel Conference Player of the Year in her senior season with the Green Wave. With All-Conference and first team Class 2 District 1 honors, the senior middle hitter led Malden to a 15-14-3 record with a championship win at the Charleston Bluejay Invitational. She served up 32 aces, had 81 ace blocks and 182 kills.
Ramsey Spinks
Scott City
Spinks had a successful junior season ending the year with 860 assists, 241 digs, 54 aces, and a 94% serving percentage leading her team to a district title and a quarterfinal appearance. She earned 1st Team All-District and SEMO Conference South First Team honors and was named the SEMO Conference South Setter of the Year.
