2024 Girls Soccer Finalists
Kennedi Sims
Sikeston
The freshman sensation made an immediate impact for the Lady Bulldogs, leading them to a resurgent 12-12 season – their first .500 or better record since 2015. Sims dazzled on the field, scoring 32 goals and tallying 72 points, both second-highest in program history. Her exceptional play earned her All-SEMO Conference, All-District, and All-Region honors, and has already attracted attention from college recruiters.
Cate Schrumpf
Sikeston
A senior leader, Schrumpf, played a crucial role in the Sikeston girls' soccer team's successful 12-12 season, contributing both offensively and as a mentor to the younger players. Her nine goals and 12 assists demonstrated her ability to create and finish scoring opportunities, earning her All-SEMO Conference and All-District honors. Schrumpf's leadership and on-field contributions were vital to the team's achievements.
Camille Richey
Saxony Lutheran
In her junior season, Richey gave the Crusaders 19 total points on their way to a second straight third-place finish. Between her 14 goals and five assists, Richey looks poised to lead the Saxony offense again in 2025.
Clara Brune
Saxony Lutheran
In her final season as a Crusader, Brune controlled the midfield of Saxony helping them to a second straight third-place finish. Along with leading the midfield, Brune added 14 points for the Crusader offense including five game winning goals.
Olivia Klinkhardt
Jackson
Klinkhardt held down the defensive end for an Indians team who only allowed nine goals all season. Klinkhardt proved she could score as well, converting freekicks and set pieces into nine goals in her senior campaign. Klinkhardt did this while helping the Indians to a seventh-straight district championship.
Camryn Alsdorf
Jackson
As the Indians goalkeeper, Alsdorf not only had a great defense in front of her but was also trusted to go out and make saves when needed. The junior shined in her role, shutting out 13 teams including eight in row while allowing just nine goals to get by. Alsdorf did this while helping the Indians to a seventh-straight district championship.
Ava Ernst
Perryville
Ernst had a perfect split of scoring and assisting for the Pirate offense with 32 total points between 16 goals and 16 assists. The sophomore also had five game winnings goals as Perryville captured their third district title in four years.
Ana Moll
Perryville
Moll contributed 14 total points to the Perryville offense with six goals and eight assists in her senior campaign. Moll finishes a career which included the best season ever for the Pirates with a fourth place finish in 2022.
Addison Clippard
Notre Dame
Clippard gave the Notre Dame offense 23 total points between her goals and assists. The junior helped the Bulldogs to another district title and near perfect conference record.
Maya Thebeau
Notre Dame
Thebeau led the Bulldogs in goals with 23 in her sophomore campaign along with adding nine assists. The Bulldogs are primed for a repeat as Thebeau returns for two more seasons
