2024 Boys Golf Finalists

Payton Strattman

Part of a St. Vincent boys golf team that made big waves at the state championships, Strattman went on a tear in the finals, winning individual state medalist honors by a ridiculous seven strokes to push the Indians all the way to a second-place finish in Class 1, their best in over two decades.

Landon Barks

Freshman Landon Barks finished 2nd at this year’s MSHSAA Class 4 Boys Golf State Tournament. Held the Poplar Bluff Mules to win a state title with a record-breaking score.

Lawson Barks

Senior Lawson Barks, who recently signed up to play golf at the University of Central Missouri, helped the Poplar Bluff Mules golf team capture a state title this year, snapping a nearly 30-year gap. Barks placed fourth at state tournament.

Fredric Banks Nesselrodt

The Dexter Bearcats golf team finished fifth at this year’s Class 3 state tournament. Fredric Nesselrodt shot a 143 to tie for third place. He also held the Bearcats capture a district title.

Ian Lambert

The Indians’ young ace kept his hot streak alive as a junior, leading Jackson to a phenomenal finish at the state championships and its highest finish since the 2019 state title win. Barely missing the all-state cut, he led a scorching Jackson effort at the state finals.
