2021 Comeback Player of the Year Finalists

Jordan Moore

The two-sport standout returned from double-ACL surgeries in a span of eight months to earn All-District and All-Conference honors in basketball, as well as All-District, All-Region, and All-Conference honors in softball.

Daniel Dickerson

The Indian senior running back returned from a season-ending knee injury in 2019 to be a Class 5 All-State player in 2020 and helping Jackson win the state championship.

Hunter Jenkins

The junior linebacker tore a muscle in his right bicep, as well as a pair of ligaments early in the 2020 football season, but returned in a month wearing a brace and led the Mules in tackles, despite playing just seven of their nine games. He earned Class 5 All-State honors.

Gracie Metzger

The sophomore battled back from a debilitating thumb injury, as well as multiple eye surgeries, to compete for the highly successful Indian softball, wrestling, and track and field programs.

Dawson Hill

The junior returned this past year from a ruptured L4-L5 disc, which caused him to miss his sophomore basketball season, and competed on the Wildcat cross country squad, as well as leading his basketball team in points scored and steals.
