2020 Softball Finalists

Alaney Moore

The junior infielder earned second team Class 2 All-State honors, as well as All-Conference honors after hitting .446 and scoring 28 times last fall. She helped the Hawks in 18 games and successfully stole eight bases in eight games.

Makenna Moore

The senior standout helped the Redbirds win 22 games last fall and advance to the Class 2 state semifinals. She was an All-State selection who hit .419 with 32 RBIs, while finishing 22-8 on the mound with 216 strikeouts.

Emma Drury

The senior infielder and pitcher earned All-Conference and All-District honors. She hit .357 with a slugging percentage of .571, while driving in 16 runs and scoring 24 times.

Riley Burger

The centerfielder was named as the 2020 Southeast Missourian Player of the Year. She hit .518 and her 56 runs scored is a Notre Dame record. Burger stole 42 bases in the 2019 season on as many attempts and in her career was caught just once in 103 SB attempts.

Ainsley Burnett

A freshman third baseman, Burnett had a school record 55 RBIs on a .527 batting average. A second team all-state player, Burnett’s 58 hits are the most ever by a right-handed batter in school history.

Halle Heuring

A junior right-fielder, Heuring hit .551 on the season and was named second team all-state. Her 59 hits is a school record.

Karli Johnson

A sophomore hurler, Johnson went 13-6 on the mound with a 2.68 earned run average with 117 strikeouts, five shutouts and two no-hitters. She was recognized as second team all-region.

Kelly Ivy

The senior pitcher earned second-team All-Region, as well as All-Conference honors, as she helped the Hawks win 18 games. Offensively, she hit .340 with a .460 slugging percentage and drove in 21 runs, while scoring 27 times. She earned 17 wins on the mound and walked just 12 hitters in over 173 innings.

Ann-Marie Simpson

A junior outfielder and pitcher, Simpson was 4-2 on the mount with 24 strikeouts in 39 innings. In the field, Simpson hit .494 with five doubles, seven triples and 20 RBI. She was second team All-State.

Sierra Burch

A second team all-region player, the senior third baseman, hit .464 with 4 HRs, 33 RBIs and 21 runs scored.
