2019 Girls Soccer Finalists
Mikala Liley
Jackson
The senior scored 20 goals and added 16 assists from her place in midfield. Along the way she earned Class 4 first-team all-state honors.
Megan Heisserer
Notre Dame
A four-time finalist, Heisserer scored 54 goals, an average of 1.93 per game. She added 29 assists as the Bulldogs won the Class 2 state title.
Abby Wilson
Notre Dame
A Class 2 first-team all-state selection, Wilson was Notre Dame’s defensive leader. The Bulldogs allowed more than one goal just three times this season.
Leah Buerck
Perryville
The sophomore forward scored 39 goals and added 25 assists to earn Class 2 all-state second-team honors. She was also the JCAA Conference Player of the Year.
Emma Brune
Saxony Lutheran
The Class 1 Player of the Year scored 35 goals and 15 assists for the Crusaders. That included three goals in a district championship loss to St. Vincent.
