Denzell Britton
Poplar Bluff junior
Britton earned all-state honors in the 100-meter dash with a fourth-place finish and qualified for the 200-meter dash, which he finished 14th. He was a conference and district champion in the 100 and 200.
Maurice Davis
Kelly junior
Davis sprinted to a Class 2 championship in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.97. He also finished fifth at state in the 200-meter dash (22.91) and sixth at state in the 100-meter relay.
Earnest Fobbs
Sikeston junior
Fobbs placed second in the Class 4 triple jump with a jump of 45 feet, 1 1/2 inches and was 13th at state in the long jump with a leap of 20 feet, 1 1/4 inches.
Bobby Jansen
Notre Dame senior
Jansen took second in Class 3 in the high jump with a jump of 6 feet, 7 inches. The Saint Louis University signee placed second at sectionals and third at districts.
Dakota Maddox
Jackson junior
Maddox placed third (15-0) in the pole vault at state, first (14-6) at sectionals and fourth (14-6) at districts. He was the SEMO Conference champion (15-0) in the same event.
