Notre Dame senior
Barber earned all-state honors at the Class 3 state meet with a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash in a school record 49.07 seconds. He won the event at the sectional meet and was the district champion.
Darnell repeated as all-state in the discus at the Class 4 state meet to cap his senior season. He threw 177 feet, 3 inches to finish third after winning sectionals with a throw of 162-9 and districts with a toss of 167-4 1/2.
Maddox earned all-state honors in the pole vault in his first appearance at the Class 4 state meet. The sophomore finished eighth with a vault of 13 feet, 6 inches. He was the district champion with a height of 14-0 and finished second at sectionals at 14-6.
East Prairie senior
Tipler concluded his senior season with a second-place finish in the high jump at the Class 2 state meet. He recorded a height of 6 feet, 2 inches in the event to earn all-state honors after winning the high jump at sectionals with the same height.
Ware collected some hardware at the Class 2 state meet. He earned all-state honors with second-place finishes in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes with times of 11.17 and 22.7 seconds, respectively. He also was part of an 800-meter state champion relay team.
