Jeffers excelled during the season despite a nagging knee injury that limited his training. He finished second at the SEMO Conference meet and qualified for the Class 4 state meet, where he finished 60th in 16:53.30.
Notre Dame senior
Meadors paced the Bulldogs at the district meet, where he finished 12th to qualify for the Class 3 state meet. He finished 31st at state in 17:19.15. He also took seventh at the SEMO Conference meet earlier in the season.
Notre Dame freshman
McClellan qualified for the Class 3 state meet during his freshman season but was unable to run because of an injury. He was the top Bulldogs finisher multiple times, including when he finished third at the SEMO Conference meet.
Reynolds parlayed his Class 2 District 1 championship — the first in school history — into a 25th place finish at the state meet with a time of 17:27.03. That finish earned him all-state recognition for the first time.
Underwood, who made remarkable and steady progress during his four seasons with the Indians, won the SEMO Conference meet and posted a time of 16:53.34 at state, which was good for 46th in Class 4.
